Gimbal Test

My teacher suggested taking the university's gimbal in order to improve the stability of my shots. The gimbal is a piece of technology that allows you to keep your camera balanced and in the same place while you move. I was unsure of the idea at first as I hadn't learned how to properly use the gimbal but he showed me how to set it up and get the gimbal ready for a shoot. I eventually worked out how to set up and pack it down and then went and test some test shots. I practiced with some moving shots and tracking shots and then realised that I could use a shot starting from below theatre seats and then leading into my client on stage (see below). I now feel much happier using the gimble and I am looking forward to using it to film my music video.
