Now the griever gig has fallen through I have spent the rest of today looking for bands and who want a music video and after not having much luck I struck gold by posting in Facebook pages for local bands. After posting in a couple of these I was inundated with potential bands who were looking to have music videos done, so much so that I have had to give some to one of my class mates as it got to much. In the space of an hour I had 10 people asking for videos and I have had to put some on hold or give them to other people while I focus on working with the first couple of bands that were Interested. The first band to get in contact was Darianna and she is looking to have some videos made for her up and coming band Darianna and the Lodgers. We have come to an agreement that transport permitting I will go and film their gig next week and if they like what I do they will let us make a music video for them. This is my first ever paid job but i'm using the money to try and entice people into helping me out as I will only be able to do the shoot if I can get a lift to and from the venue. The second company were a music promotion company that I had messaged and they said they have a charity gig coming up in bath on the 15th November with paid travel fees and good exposure as the video will likely receive a lot of views based on the companies reputation. Again however due to distance it is just going to be weather I can arrange a lift or not. There are also a number of other bands that want videos made that I will get back to as soon as I can.
