Rob Tribe has got back to me after contacting his lead singer and has said his band are playing the Castle Hotel in Taunton on the 7th December and feels this would be a lively venue to shoot his band a three to five minuet show reel. Despite it being fairly short notice I feel I have enough time to plan out the shoot, we have already discussed the issue of sound. Rob was worried as his band do not have good quality studio tracks (his words) and I have said that I only have a small directional microphone and I don't think the sound quality from that will be good enough either. He has mentioned his bass player does however have a good quality sound recording device so we are hoping to use that to capture sound live on the night. He has said he will be in touch with more details but all I know of at the moment is he wants a three to five minute show reel cut together from an hour gig that will take place at the castle hotel on December 7th.
